Kenya was simply AMAZING!

Our Journey to Amboseli: A Safari to Remember
By Kieran & Sherri Murry, Ignite-U Travel
There are trips you take... and then there are experiences that change you. Our recent adventure to Amboseli National Park in Kenya falls firmly into the second category. We knew it would be beautiful—but what we witnessed, shared, and felt alongside our group was something truly special.
Why Amboseli?
We chose Amboseli for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, its thriving herds of elephants, and its rich cultural history with the Maasai people. It's one of those places where the sky stretches endlessly, and wildlife still roams free in their ancient rhythms. This was the Africa of our dreams—and we wanted to share that with our fellow travelers.
The Magic of the Safari
From the moment we entered the park, nature didn’t hold back. Towering elephants strolled right past our vehicles—calm, majestic, and seemingly posing just for us. We saw giraffes silhouetted against glowing sunsets, lions napping in the heat of the day, and vibrant birds painting the sky with color.
But the true magic? Watching our guests experience this. Some had tears in their eyes the first time they saw Kilimanjaro rise through the clouds. Others couldn’t believe how close the animals came. For many, it was a dream come true—and it meant the world to us to help make it happen.
Connecting with the Maasai
One of our favorite moments was spending time in a local Maasai village. We danced, laughed, and learned about their beautiful traditions and way of life. It wasn’t just a visit—it was a heartfelt exchange, and we all walked away with a deeper understanding of how the Maasai live in harmony with the land.
Where We Stayed
We always aim to combine comfort with responsibility, and our hand-picked eco-lodges delivered both. Think luxurious tents with warm hospitality, gourmet meals under the stars, and the gentle roar of lions in the distance (yes, really!). The lodges also support local conservation and community programs—something that’s deeply important to us.
Reflections
As we wrapped up the trip, we all gathered for a final toast. The sky turned shades of orange and pink as the sun dipped below the savannah. There was laughter, gratitude, and a few bittersweet goodbyes. It was clear: this trip wasn’t just a vacation—it was a life memory.
If you’ve ever dreamed of Africa, now is the time to go. Come with us. Let us show you what it means to truly experiencea place—not just see it.
Let’s make magic together.
With adventure,
Kieran & Sherri
